Y-JET (Youth for Just Energy Transition) is an education and capacity-building initiative that introduces young people to clean energy technologies through practical learning and early engagement. The project focuses on solar, wind and hydropower, with the aim of equipping youth with the knowledge and skills to become future innovators, advocates and leaders in the energy transition.

The project is currently self-funded by its founder through a small business, while team members contribute their expertise on a voluntary basis. Current operating costs are modest but additional funding is needed to expand activities and increase outreach. Key challenges include limited financial resources, low public visibility and the lack of formal registration as a nonprofit organisation.
