Project Description

AgriVijay is India’s first curated marketplace and agtech climate-action social enterprise, offering renewable energy products—solar, biogas, green energy, agri-tech, and organic solutions—under one roof. The platform uses an energy advisory recommendation approach, assessing farmers’ energy needs and waste availability before recommending, financing, delivering, and deploying products, while abating GHG/CO₂ emissions and increasing savings and income. Operating through a dedicated website, AI-enabled WhatsApp chatbot, local-language call centers, field sales, technical teams, and village-level Renewable Energy Stores, AgriVijay disseminates knowledge and provides high-quality products with benefits including free solar insurance, long-term warranties, after-sales service, and EMI financing.

Currently in its growth stage with over 5 years of operation and 100+ members, AgriVijay serves 20+ lakh farmers across 18+ states, with 84+ stores in 527+ villages, impacting 10,000+ lives and mitigating 20,750+ tonnes of CO₂ emissions.

Revenue Model: User charges, fees, and sales to individuals.
Expenses: Product sourcing, technology integration, logistics, installation, and field operations—covered through sales revenue, service fees, partnerships, grants, and government subsidies.
Challenges: Last-mile delivery, farmer education, technology integration, cash flow management, regulatory approvals, and supply chain consistency.
Vision: To become India’s leading rural renewable energy platform, onboarding 10 lakh farmers as renewable energy producers and consumers, abating 10 lakh tonnes of GHG emissions, and establishing 10,000 village-level stores by 2030. Recognized with multiple national and international awards, AgriVijay has executed impactful projects with UNDP, SELCO Foundation, Reliance Industries, and government agencies.
