Solar-Powered DC Milking Machine for Dairy Cattle

Project Summary

This project focuses on a solar-powered milking machine with a suction pump and a DC motor to extract milk from cattle, meeting the needs of large-scale dairy farmers, both small and large, across all communities. Due to its cost-effectiveness and renewable potential, it is a more sustainable option.

Project Description

The solar-powered DC milking machine involves the use of a suction pump and DC motor to extract milk from cattle. The machine was designed to meet the need of both small and large scale dairy farmers across all settlements. Farms located in remote or off-grid areas that rely on diesel generators or other costly and polluting sources of power could also benefit greatly from the solar-powered milking machine as it is cost-effective and renewable, making it a more sustainable option. The machine could also be used in the universities, research institutions, and agricultural development organisations.
