Liberia experiences the worst energy poverty with only 7% of the total population having stable electricity in the capital of Monrovia. According to the world bank, at 2%, Liberia has the lowest electricity access rate. Gbarpolu County, where our intervention will be operated, has a 100% offgrid electricity, and a 90% energy poverty rate. There are very limited solar energy distributors and government intervention is expensive, and inaccessible to the people in the last mile region. Their focus is mostly only on the capital of Gbarpolu with little attention to the last mile region such as Madina, and Tortokerle. These challenges have made Go-Solar Fresh the best to intervene, and help improve the need of low-income families to access sustainable, and affordable energy. Go-Solar Fresh will use a moto bike capable of reaching the last mile region in Liberia targeting forgetting home, and families.
