This project focuses on the off-grid energy market, not just a business venture; it is a key bridge to achieving Sustainable Development Goal 7 (SDG7) – energy for all by 2030. In the energy sector, Kenya has made significant strides in rural electrification, with estimates indicating that in 2023, over 75% of rural electricity access was off-grid (EPRA, 2023). The figure below illustrates the positive trend in electricity access in Kenya in the 2022/2023 financial year, with a 2% increase in the number of customers connected to the grid (EPRA, 2023).

Project Description
