Africa Renewable Energy Network (AFREN) was founded to address Africa’s pressing need for reliable, affordable, and sustainable energy solutions. AFREN operates through a five-pronged approach:

Capacity Building – Empowering renewable energy professionals and enthusiasts through webinars and online training courses, equipping them with essential skills.

E-Commerce Platform – Connecting renewable energy product distributors, companies, service providers, and project financiers with customers through an innovative online marketplace that enhances accessibility and transparency.

Solar Solutions – Collaborating with renewable energy companies, service providers, and project financiers to deliver sustainable solar solutions.

Through AFREN, I am building a thriving renewable energy ecosystem, addressing key barriers such as limited awareness, restricted product accessibility, and financing challenges. Since inception, I have:
Trained over 100 renewable energy professionals and enthusiasts across six African countries through online programs.
Hosted webinars with 200+ registered participants from various African nations.
Developed an e-commerce platform showcasing diverse renewable energy products and services.

The Africa Renewable Energy Network (AFREN) was recently founded to make with lasting impacts on Nigerian communities and even beyond through 3 parallelled approaches: (1) Capacity-building courses to unlock the great potential of professionals from renewable energy sector by equipping them with basic but crucial techniques via online training, (2) e-Commerce Platform developed to link renewable energy product distributors, service providers, corporations and investors for better accessibility and transparency, (3) Main product and service of startup – Solar Solutions to collaborate with other key stakeholders for delivering sustainable solar solutions.
