Tanzania Tech Forum (TTF) is a youth-led innovation and policy platform advancing sustainable energy solutions in Tanzania. Founded by an Electronics and Telecommunications Engineering professional, TTF bridges the gap between technical innovation, policy dialogue, and community clean energy access.

Since its inception 1–3 years ago, TTF has reached over 2,000 participants through 16 events—including technical workshops, policy dialogues, innovation showcases, and community outreach initiatives. The initiative engages over 100 members and collaborates with startups, private companies, academic institutions, and civil society to foster youth participation in energy policy and green entrepreneurship.

Impact: TTF strengthens youth leadership, promotes renewable energy adoption (particularly solar), and advances SDG 7, 4, 8, and 13.
Revenue Model: Sales to private and government entities, donations, prizes, and grants.
Expenses: Event logistics, communication, digital platforms, training resources, and coordination.
Challenges: Limited funding, inconsistent sponsorship, scaling constraints, and difficulty translating policy dialogue into implementation.

Vision: To become a national youth-driven clean energy ecosystem, expanding regionally, establishing training programmes, supporting youth-led pilot projects, and influencing national energy policy within five years.

TTF is at the growth stage, seeking angel investors and grants to scale sustainably.
