SDG7YOUTH

Youth Energy Transition Commision (YETC)

Who We Are

The Youth Energy Transition Commission (YETC) is a global coalition of young leaders united in accelerating progress toward Sustainable Development Goal 7, ensuring access to affordable, reliable, sustainable, and modern energy for all. Our vision is to promote the empowerment and active role of youth as critical stakeholders within the global energy transition by fostering collaboration, knowledge sharing, and advocating for the meaningful integration of youth across the energy landscape.

What We Do

The YETC serves as a platform to connect, empower, and mobilize youth within the energy space. In our pilot phase, we are building a robust network of youth-led organizations and leaders. Through global convenings, co-developed solutions, and advocacy initiatives, we hope to establish pathways for meaningful youth engagement and leadership while amplifying collective efforts to drive progress toward an equitable and inclusive energy transition.

We hope to cultivate a dynamic ecosystem of purpose-driven youth actors, demonstrating the strength of coordinated, global collaboration in achieving SDG 7.

Our Key Objectives

What’s Next

In our next phase, the YETC will scale our efforts to mainstream meaningful youth engagement through close collaboration and partnership with diverse intergovernmental bodies and international organizations, while facilitating the adoption of impactful youth-led projects that respond to critical gaps in the SDG 7 landscape.

We invite aligned youth organizations and initiatives to join us! To learn more, reach out to [email].
